Floyd Mayweather vs Wilfred Benitez @ 147

Good close fight... But I think I a true prime time Benitez takes this one either 12/15 rd UD. He was an unbelieveable defensive fighte in his prime, and he had some pop on his punch too. He would make PBF come to him, he was a master at doing that. And, once his back touched the ropes and he got the nice wide stance planted,look out. Nobody did it bettet off the ropes than Benitez... He was busier than PBF and he even dug to the body. Prime is Cervantes , Palomino version. At jr. welter, its even better for Benitez...

 

Benitez is greater and just look at his opposition, it shits all over Floyd's. He had a very close fight with a young Hearns(prime imo as he was still a force at 154 and mayber better there than at 147). I've never seen Hearns miss that much and Benitez did that to one the best boxer-punchers of all times. Floyd didn't have the power of Hearns so Benitez could be more confident in opening up. I know Bruce Curry had a close fight in the first one with Benitez but he got outclassed in the rematch and Floyd didn't have the power Curry did to deck Benitez. Benitez by decision, UD.
