i'm not contesting that...but if he sat in the UK and tried to get a fight with floyd without taking the chances he did people would be debating hatton's legacy back and forth the way they do with calzaghe.

hatton made damn sure that his career was in his own hands and he was straight up with it.

A smart move by Floyd would be $13m guaranteed plus his share in the PPVs. I'm sure this will all add up to $20m.

I disagree! RJJ-Trinidad did 500,000 buys....I feel Floyd has a bigger name in the USA than both...RJJ-Tito wasn't for any belts...Floyd would do around 450,000-500,000 fighting a nobody...Fighting Shane he could prolly do around 750,000+...

I DON'T BELIEVE 20 MILLION IS THERE FOR HIM AGAINST MOSLEY...12-15 MILLION IS THOUGH...

IF PAC BEATS HATTON (WHICH HE SHOULD) THAN I THINK 16-20 MILLION IS THERE FOR HIM..PAC IS A BIGGER NAME THAN SHANE AND COULD BRING MORE $$ TO THE TABLE!:bbb

You can feel like Floyd's bigger then both, but that's just you. Fact of the matter is, BOTH guys were bigger then Floyd. They may not be in his class anymore in terms of ability, but both were still bigger names, and still are. HEnce the better then expected #'s for washed up fighters w/o a belt.

Maybe Floyd could fight a nobody for 500k. But he hasn't ever, and looks like he won't.

Floyd is a bigger draw than RJJ....RJJ-Joe C did 200,000 buys...OSCAR IS BIGGER THAN ANYONE...Tito and Floyd are in the same league...I think Pac is in that Tito-Floyd league too when it comes to ppv buys and all!
