This hatton fight cannot happen, this just sums mayweather up all this talk of fighting hatton.

Mayweather slaughtered Hatton with relative ease in their first fight, he made a hell of alot of money too. So he retires and now there are talks of him coming out of ritirement to fight hatton again!

    Greedy *******!

where are the fights with williams, marg, cotto etc.

The only other fight mentioned is pacman. yes hes a great fighter. but floyd would win this easy and he knows it. pac is a 135 fighter maximum!

Floyd mayweather you are an absolute disgrace and i hope you stay retired

And what exactly has Hatton been doing all his career? Its fairly obvious that the first bout happen for one reason only. If Hatton wants to chew on another ring post thats fine by me. Il be more than happy to watch.

Because they were two unbeaten fighters who were no.1 in their respective divisions, who hadn't fought when they were both at 140?

If you mean some other crap then please, save it. It's boring.

Floyd should be wise enough to let HAtton v Pacman happen and be in attendance to show he'll fight the winner. That way he'll be coming back to fight the P4P1. If the winner happens to be Pac then the fight is huge. If the winner happens to be Hatton then at least he's earnt his shot by coming back against Lazcano, showing he is #1 140 v Malignaggi and then beating P4P1!

Where have you heard Floyd Mayweather say "i want a rematch with hatton?"

i have only seen Ray Hatton, notorious for bull ****, saying that mayweathers camp were sounding out a re-match. that basicly means they want to make some noise and build up a bigger fight agaisnt Manny. Floyd has only ever wanted re-matched in his fights that were close (Castillo and DLH) not when he has absolutley destroys someone.

Jesus , guess you're pissed off at not getting Hater of the year ?

there was nothing wrong with the first fight , alright floyd won it pretty f**kin handily but it was as good a challenge as he ever faced ( first Castillo fight aside ) A rematch isn't really warranted but if they fought it at 140 and if Ricky could be more like he was against Malignaggi then this MIGHT be a decent scrap.

 what a joke Floyd is, how obvious can it be he's ducking the real threats. It's a nonsense that he's going after the very same paper titlist he knocked out in 10 1-sided rounds just over a year ago.
Fight an elite guy....or stay retired.

    Absolutely pointless.

Ricky Hatton looked like a an unskilled clown against Floyd Mayweather.

Look Im no Floyd hugger I admire the mans skills , but he isnt a good person.

That said he is pretty f**kin smal for a ww himself and you're suggesting he chases who ? Margarito who comes into the ring more or less a light heavy ? Paul Williams who is half a foot taller than him ?

Cotto I suppose but he is coming of a loss and no doubt wants nothing to do with Floyd right now.

Floyd himself started out at super feather ( I think ! ) so to say these guys are qway too big for him seems reasonable.

to me a Floyd / Pac / Hatton series at 140 seems a pretty good idea

Yeah but what can 'The New Ricky' do?

I just think the outcome would be similar, probably a points loss though, and almost as one-sided.

The 147 excuse doesn't wash with me, but the reffing was awful.

true enough but I know you guys dont like Hatton and he always says he is a 140 pounder ( kinda saying that results outside that weight almost dont count ) so would you want to see him fight Floyd at 140 ?

Mayweather at 147 is the worst version of Mayweather.

Why fighting at 140 would make any difference I'm really not sure, he was quicker and more aggressive if anything.
