Floyd was close to his prime and Canelo wasn't in his prime....but this is Floyds schtick is trying to convince everyone he's TBE and he gets away with it because he has no losses but we all know deep down he's a clown. Is he a great boxer? yes, is he TBE? **** no

and im tired of seeing people saying "omg he fought a 6 ft tall dude who weighs 200 pounds" what high level boxer his age would go the distance with a youtuber who was gassed a few rounds in and has only been boxing a few years and whos only boxing fights were against another youtuber? lol

Mayweather was not close to prime. He was definitely past his prime. Mayweather past prime is better than any other fighter past prime because he didn't take a lot of damage in his career. His ring iq was the difference in that Canelo fight. Canelo was in the beginning of his prime, but could not match Mayweather ring iq and got schooled.

Don't be a casual man. This wasn't a fight, but an exhibition man. Paul held on Mayweather to survive in this fight. Haven't seen that much hugging since a funeral !

the only people defending Floyd are the casuals and the LDBC that's it, everyone else realizes any top ranked boxer floyds age would waste a YouTuber.

You mean real boxing fans going to set casuals straight about lies they try to tell? Never in history has there been a professional boxer with 42 fights not in there prime yet lol See how ridiculous you Canelo fans sound trying to discredit Mayweather win over Canelo.

Thats the stupidest statement Joy has made in a while. Canelo was 22, prime occurs from 28-32.

Floyd was very close to prime, clearly no where nearbbeing an 'old man'....ah...the ego is hurting as Canelo piles up the legacy points.

I don't think it's correct to say it was prime Canelo, he's improved so much since then.

But I think Canelo was clearly closer to his prime.

No doubt Canelo has improved but he still doesn't beat any version of Floyd

    Yes
No way Jose, Mayweather was clearly closer to prime. Physically Mayweather was still close to his peak with tons of experience at the top. Mayweather was able to stretch out his prime into his mid-30s because he didn't take much punishment throughout his career.

Mayweather isn't wrong, and he absolutely schooled Alvarez.

That is so sweet to watch back, knowing how much of a corrupt shambles Alvarez' career has unfolded.
