Floyd Mayweather will never fight Canelo

  1. I've been shouting this from the mountain tops. The fight will never happen.

The fight makes sense. I would love to see it. But let's be honest, its the kind of career defining fight that Floyd has been avoiding for a long time and to think he is gonna change the way he approaches making his fights now is simply wishful thinking. Canelo is too big, too young, too skilled, too strong. The fight is too risky. Floyd can put a close to his career fighting guys coming up in weight. He will never take the challenge from Canelo. :bart :bart :bart :bart

    of course it makes sense.

    but it aint happening.

just like pac vs mayweather made sense.
just like paul williams vs mayweather made sense.
just like cotto ( pre margo / pac ) made sense.
just like margarito post cotto made sense.

when going gets tough, the tough go on vacation.

Floyd has made a career out of NOT making the fight everybody wants to see. No way he changes his stripes now.

How does fighting somebody that will weigh 20 pounds more than you make sense? And where did the idea that Floyd is a junior middleweight come from?

I dont see it as a career defining fight. If he wins its a cherry pick on a young fighter

Floyd will not fight Canelo but it won't be because he's scared of him, it will only be because he doesn't know where Canelo was when Floyd was dominating at 21. If Floyd know where Canelo was at when Floyd was dominating at 21, Canelo can come and get it .

  12. That a serious question?

His last fight was at 154...He is the current WBA 154 Champ... He has a belt, Canelo wants those. He is the former WBC 154 champ... he fought De La Hoya at that weight.

Seriously what the **** are you talking about?

His upcoming fight is at 147. How about, after beating Guerrero, Canelo meet him at 147.
