I doubt he would even make 40 mil.

He sure the hell isn't making 50 mil each fight.

Have no idea if he's broke but he does spend money like it won't end. People just can't fathom how much these guys realy spend. Yea 30 million is a lot but if you don't nvest it it will go in a few years. Living a lifestyle that requires 6 - 7 millions a year and your soon out of money. Floyd more then likely still has millions but it is running low. His lawyer has even entertain future fight options if the price were right.

A fine example of a guy who has made millions and continues to play is Shaq. Why does Shaq continue to play even though he's made 200 millions? Because he has an 8 figure million dollar a year lifestyle.

This joker was claiming he doesn't need money anymore because he has investments in the money market so he is retiring . . . what happened?

You know nothing about money, you state 180 to 235 on a million. Thats 18% to 23.5% That is 4 times what you can earn. I see you don't have any gov bonds or you would know that your numbers are rediculas. Tell you what show me where I can earn 18 to 23.5% and I'll never work again, you are talking out your ass. and 360,000 would be 6% percent interest you must not have seen the news in the last 2 years the fed loan rate is at less than one percent cd's are less that 3%. Learn something before you talk about it.

Once again you shouldnt talk about things above you pay rate...For us average everyday people you would be right on those rates...However when you start talking about the larger numbers it dont work that way...Truth is the Government only back 100,000 per FDIC so if you invest more then that in your local bank the rates are higher because the risks are higher....If your not a money people you wouldnt know that, or if you have a couple of million to drop in the system.....

    Thank you for trying:good

They say he owes 6 millions in taxes, they never once said he was broke.

Him not being able to pay 7 million is a fairy tale. He could pay that if he owed it and there is no certainty that is even true. Lots of people have been listed as owing but in fact they didn't. This type of thing was a big story when Wesley Snipes and a lot of other people were listed as owing. Some of them did, some didn't. 7 million doesn't even come close to being the worst boxer about money even if it is true.

Just dumb thinking to believe he is broke. He is probably still making more money in retirement than most any active boxer is making. Yes that's another point people don't realize that he may be having lawyers dispute what he owes. Happens all the time. People just want to make a big deal about nothing because they don't like the guy. He's retired, so give it up. If he gets a hunger to box again he will be back, if not, I am sure he will never worry about money.

YOU HAVE TO HAVE MONEY...What part of that dont you understand????? Hell in order to get a jumbo one year CD you have to drop 100k and that will only get you a shade under 4.5% depending on were you are...My point is if you only have 34k in the bank it dont matter, if you can bring me 200k plus I can show you were to put it to get a pretty safe 6 to 6.5%.

Like everything eles in life rich people live by different rules...:good
