this is about as stupid as when isaah thomas came out and said that larry bird wouldve been just another guy if he were black(career 24/10/6 on 50 percent and 37 from the three).

there is no denying the skillset of floyd mayweather.

the only thing to question is his choice and timing of opponents which will all be for not if he were able to simultaneoulsy hold the jww,ww and sww belts.

Duran isn't talking with any hate, he's being realistic. Who the **** has Floyd beaten aside from a couple of washed up greats? He's in a weak era of guys who can't box and him being as good as the hype suggest is simply an illusion based on fighting **** opponents.
Prime fighters to beat Floyd -- Sugar Ray, Mosley, De La Hoya, Duran, Whitaker. Floyd lacks power to keep any of these guys off him in their prime. All of these guys had power, and lots of it along with ring smarts and great boxing ability.
Just look at Floyd vs an aging, almost washed up oscar. Oscar almost beat him! LOL Prime he would walk floyd down and left hook his head off.

Would he have been head and shoulders above the field like he is now if he had fought in the 70's? No, but 'just another guy'? GTFO of here with that ****.

Like most people, I just can't see Floyd beating Hearns, but I'd give him a shot against Duran and Leonard. Hagler's just too big, so that's out of the question. Could his ridiculous boxing IQ let him adapt, outsmart and outbox legends like Duran and Leonard? I wish I knew.

Funny, no one looks at how floyd's entire family (father and uncles) just got knocked out and laid out during that period. Floyd is better but he would have been beaten by duran mercilessly, the guy is scared to fight pacman, duran would have destroyed him

Floyd isn't a quitter because he doesn't have to fight anyone on the level of Sugar Ray Leonard.:deal

As long as Pac and Margarito aren't in this argument, Duran can ay what he wants.

Who else quit against Leonard. I love Duran to death and he's entitled to his opinion. From 130-140 Floyd is almost unbeatable. Those Castillo fights toughened Floyd to the point that after he filled out at lw and jww I'd match him with Arguello, Camacho, Pryor, Pep, Saddler, Wilde, Chavez and Duran. I think Floyd could beat every last one of those guys. 147 and above is where it gets murky for Floyd.
