    Unknown quantity? NO!

A well rounded blueprint to diffuse Pacquiao has been made and duplicated once by Erik Morales and 4 times by Juan Manuel Marquez.
The blueprint is there in fine print for Mayweather to follow! :deal

Only problem with that is Terrible and Dinamita were far FAR braver more aggressive attacking fighters than Floyd ever will be

Didn't Terrible sit his ass down and basically quit against Pacquiao? If Terrible is so much braver than Floyd, then Pacquiao just needs to put some heat on Mayweather and Mayweather will tap out like Morales.

Fights 1 and 2, Marquez counterpunched at every opportunity.
He matched Pacquiao punch for punch and landed the cleaner more effective blows on a round by round basis.

Fight 3 Marquez fought somewhat at a Mayweather pace, limiting his combinations as to not get caught and dropped as had happened in the previous two fight.
Many feel this method was Marquez' clearest victory of Pacquiao, and its the method Mayweather will use.
Limiting the punching output but with precise, clear, clean connects.
This method reduced Pacquiao's effective connects and reduced his normal output of power punching by applying leverage to his punches, to one of a fighter flailing away with ineffective arm punches.
Fighing in this method was the only one of the 4 fights that did'nt get Marquez dropped.

He could try and fight like their third fight. But by that point Juan had already been 24 rounds with Manny, and knew him very well. And Floyd and Juan's counterpunching styles are very different

If Floyd can replicate that though, and no drugs are involved (The 3rd fight was the only fight Manny came in clean and was a VASTLY inferior fighter) then Floyd should school him

but no way in hell is Manny coming in clean for this. Duracell bunny boiler pacroid gonna be back in town :hey

The maniacal herky jerky, spell binding Pacquiao is no more.
When was the last time you saw Pacquiao fight in such a manicial way?

Manny Pacquiao is an older fighter with civilized honed skills nowdays, and as Nacho Beristain has alluded to in the past, thats a Pacquiao much easier to decipher.

yeah thats true. and your post about the 3rd fight, where juan was fighting in a more conservative mayweather suited style, restricting his combos and not leaving himself open, was spot on

    hope things are alright man
