    There's not one human on this planet that can justify him retiring at this age.

    He ducked and avoided the Welterweight division, the Floydhuggers on this site knows this aswell, it's about time we all agreed, Floyd is a ducker.


    Just when everyone started demanding Cotto - PBF, this news comes from Floyd, coincidence? I would expect nothing than a PBF comeback after Cotto is defeated, and he may very well be defeated, because unlike Chickenfeather, hes willing to fight anyone.

    I will answer you in one answer...He fought Mitchell/judah/baldomir/hatton at 147. How can you duck a division when you spent an entire career in other lower divisions....................ahahahaha suck a dick you mindless twits.

    The welterweight division is still the best division without Floyd.
    Floyd may have robbed us all on the fight of this century in Floyd vs. Cotto though, and it's gonna hurt for quite some time... luckily, there's WW fighters out there that are willing to fight :good

    Floyd huggers, Floyd haters and those of us that stand in the middle all have something in common, we won't see the fight that we want to see, because of Floyd Mayweather, period.

    You guys need to learn how to read between the lines, this to ME looks more another attempt from a wannabe media-***** (PBF) to steal the spotlight from the real guys who are putting on good boxing matches. Im really surprise he didnt pull this **** on the weekend of July 26......

    You honestly think he has has made enough money to support himself and the 30 other people who live with him? **** NO!!!!!!!

    Im willing to bet anyone that PBF will be back on the news around July 26, announcing that he is coming back to fight the winner of Cotto/Margarito fight.....

    Whether or not you believe it's because of fear or a marketing ploy, that's your opinion.

    I've done a lot of sparring, I've been to a boxing gym more than the majority of this site, and yes.. I have done your sister aswell.

    That may very well be true, Cotto - Floyd would be one hell of a fight and it would be the real fight to "ressurrect" boxing.

    C'mon bro, do you honestly think Boxing is dead??? Hell NO!!! Man there are tons of boxers outthere who are putting on better shows than PBF its just that the casual fan doesnt watch them....Thats one of things I hate the MOST in this sport, fans always try to make it seem like its all about ONE boxer when its NOT!!!

    That's where the "-"'s are from, it would be a PPV explosion, people demands it, media wants it... its just up to Floyd at this point.

    Do I think boxing is dead? No, I think boxing is great except Heavyweights, I also think Cotto - Floyd is as big as SRL - Hearns in a way.

    Thats why it sets people like Mayweather apart from the dry and lame boxers that may have the skills but dont have any swagger and cant make it mainstream for lack of personality. Mayweather made the right moves outside the ring to bring attention inside the ring. Without this kind of marketing boxing would not make that much profit and go underground or to showtime. Whichever is worse.

    So I take it that you believed PBF when he was on ESPN FNFs and said that he "ALONE" sold over 2.5 million PPVs in 2007 right???? **** NO, he didnt!!!!!PBF has personality??? If that you mean getting in front of the camera with rolls of money and talking bout money this, money that well thats not what personality means to me bro....

    you dont know **** about boxing.those guys you mentioned arent the top guys at welter he never fought guys like Cotto,Margo,Mosley,Williams,Quintana,Clottey etc.
    Mitchell was shot.
    Hatton was too small and would get crushed by any top Welter.
    Baldomir althoug he had the titles was an average fighter.
    Judah was a good win.
