You should mention their age. Oscar was a P4P HOF fighter, but at the time of the fight worn and old. When Manny fought him, it wasn't a legit superstar victory either, but he disposed of Hoya in convincing fashion. While Mayflower potshotted him to death to a low margin 12 round decision while running like a chicken from the guy with the axe. All the time thinking of what gangsta trashtalk he would throw around under the shower afterwards.

I understand where you are coming from....but you have to also look at it a bit more deep.....judah was former lineal 147 champ, and was still prime there.....Baldomir was the lineal champ when he fought Mayweather....Hatton had previously won a title at 147, and was undefeated at the time.....

De La Hoya, mayweather was moving up in weight at the time and was for the WBC 154 strap, along with being the cash-cow of the sport...

Marquez was P4P number 2, but was coming up from lightweight....

Could it have been better? Yes.....However, His resume is solid and is not as bad as some make it out to be on ESB...

We all agree he is a fantastic boxer, especially at 130-135.... we all also agree that he hasn't done **** since corrales.

  10. This is less about the quality of opponents than it is about a particular common theme I noticed.

    Spins, spins.
Bottomline is, the only threat he fought at '47 is Zab Judah.

The same guy who lost to Baldomir (!), and to Clottey & Cotto, guys NOT in Floyd's resume.:deal
