Carlito, you're a pro at ignoring the facts. PBF had 2 fights to fight Gatti...what is your point. You still trying to push that he could have fought KT? When.....pick a time frame. Before the Mitchell fight? (KT was hurt)....after the Mitchell fight (Hatton was his mandatory)? When?

And yes, PBF went after Baldomir instead of Margarito. He should have. Baldomir lost at 154....whats your point? Margarito just lost too....

the point is Zab had his moment with floyd nothing dominating just your average 10-9 but after that he was complete shut out , shut down and out classed in every area.. and what make this even more impressive floyd did not use his speed to beat zab or muscle , he used skill and brains, to say thats not impressive example of pure boxing you have to be a hater..

 

yup I agree even when you go back to the hay day of tyson utilized his strength and speed in such away that prevented him from taking the kind punishment cotto took from zab.. uhm he tried to fight HAtton, Hattton declined, he tried to fight COtto, Cotto declined.
At 147, he fought the recognized champion, he beat Zab Judah.

PBF is an excellent boxer. Now his oppoonents post-Castillo are very questionable. He's human. If you fought a mack truck in Castillo you would probably react the same. The 1st Castillo-PBF fight I gave to JLCastillo. From 130, he had a vision to conquer each weight class by taking out the best fighter in each. JLC changed his goals and he uses other excuses to reach his height in significance. He IS a great and superb boxer, but some fighters don't have it in terms of true desire to be the very best and push themselves to the limit.

Like I said. The question to be asked of PBF was why he didn't fight the higher ranked Harris at 140....not KT who was injured, or Hatton who turned him down. That argument is valid, despite Harris losing to Maussa later on.

I can look at fighters and say
EX: WInky Wright, FLoyd, Bernard, Miguel Cotto, etc. they all have skill, miguel is more of a pressure fighter than a pure boxer, but i think he has some skill.
AM on the other hand he dont got none. Hes wack.
Anyone with decent handspeed and foot movement can beat him.

He looks like an amateur fighter to me. He has no jab, granted evry boxer doesnt use their jab either, but they make up for it with soemthing else. He doesnt, he has no jab, his hooks are wider than Hookers on the corners insides, his hands are slow, he has ok power. He doesnt move his head, he is easy to hit, hes not agile

Only thing he got going 4 him is chin and heart. Thats about it, but skill, things that boxers are suppose 2 possess. He dont got it.
Hes a pressure fighter, and he cant even perfect his craft to suit his own style. He got beat by PW at his own game. He fought decent competition but they mostly were C class or B- fighters at most, and the one time he stepped up in class against a B class fighter he losses.
I could never understand wat people see in him. If some1 could explain it 2 me I would appreciate it.
And to say that he could beat Floyd i thought that was the funniest thing I have ever heard. He lost to a lesser skilled fighter than Floyd, but yet people expect he can beat the best right now.
