Margarito and Mosely were not in "the drivers" seat. Margarito had squeaked by Clottey and lost to Williams. Mosely was squeaking by Mayorga and taking on B+ class fighters and NOT stopping them Collazo. Arum was hiding Cotto from Mayweather so Cotto could continue getting sent to the canvas damn near EVERY fight since Brussels. This is what FMJ was afraid of? This crap you are talking is ignorant at best and slanderous at worst.

Arum stopped all of those fights Margarito, Cotto, and Clottey. Arum was busy skimming 33% from BOTH sides of the contracts boxing out everyone who wouldn't agree to his shark terms. Only after he squeezed that situation dry did he let desperate suckers like Mosely get in.

If Cotto is so big and strong and Pac is so small then how does that explain Pacman beating the crap out of Cotto.

Also why does Mayweather get all the blame for not fighting Cotto, Mosley or Margarito. Arum turned down the Cotto-Margarito negotiations. Explain how 7mil guaranteed is a fair offer to PBF for Cotto. Arum is the one who decided to put Cotto vs Mosley and Cotto vs Margo avoiding Mayweather. Mayweather challenged Mosley twice before and may even fight him after Pacman. Mayweather fought JMM over Mosley because JMM was said to have beaten Pac twice and Pac was considered the pfp best. After Mayweather gets his PFP status back he may look to fight Mosley.

You can try and spin it to him being scared of the WWs but we will be able to see his intentions after the Pac fight. All Cotto had to do was win and it would have been more clear.

Mosley's career was on a slide since losing to Winky. 2005-2007. Mayweather called him out during said time and his tooth was loose and he needed a vacation. He got a shot at Cotto and was out boxed! It was a moot point after that.

Sure Cotto did, but he didn't want ANY part of FMJ. Cotto was doing nothing near FMJ/RH numbers. Why didn't sound the horn?

I am not saying Mosely isn't a solid fighter. I am saying that he let the window of opportunity open and slam shut in his face. He isn't the money fight any more. The Vagas fight did not creat buzz for him. Neither did the Collazo fight. The Cotto fight sealed the deal. Now he is all froggy?

Margarito had a rocky up/down run. He still barely had a fan base until he beat Cotto. I love Clottey. He is a solid fighter. I am saying it in the context of if you can't get buy guys impressively, don't wonder why a fighter on the level of DLH or FMJ isn't jumping for the chance to fight you.

I am talking 2008-2009 because with Mayweather gone who were these guys fighting? Who? What big fights were they involved in? And I don't mean "big fight" AFTER the fact either. None.

When? Show me video and give time frames. Paul Williams started as a MW got into the mix seriously in 2007 and killed his chances when he lost to Quintana. This was AFTER Mayweather retired, but who had he fought at WW up until then? What did he bring to the table?
