I just hope Khabib gets frustrated enough to the point where he chokes Floyd out.

Floyd is always 10 steps ahead of everybody, and thus far always ends up having the last laugh often its something out of the blue and unexpected like the mcgreggor fight, Wouldn't be surprised at all if he ends up announcing some other kind of huge deal where he makes another boat load of money. As much as i am a fan of his boxing skill, i am not the biggest fan of the whole "money mayweather" persona, that said i respect the fact that he is still super competitive outside of the ring, you have to have an insane level of ego to remain as competitive and dedicated he was during and after his career. he's also smarter than people think and give him credit.

He landed more than nothing, he had his moments vs Floyd, but you're right that feinting doesn't win you rounds. Canelo did fail to take advantage of many of those feints, he was very cautious even after feinting Floyd, though a good number of them were effective in setting up punches.

But I wasn't using the feints to argue it won him the rounds, I was using them to argue that it wasn't a Floyd schooling. Because feinting and getting your opponent to flinch is not a novice move. It is a move typically utilized by boxing masters with high levels of athleticism against inexperienced or lesser fighters.

For Canelo to make Floyd bite on 35 feints thoughout the fight goes aginst the theory that Canelo was schooled. Even if he didn't take advantage of those feints, they still caused a reaction from Floyd, many of those times Floyd flinched really hard and it was very noticeable. I mean honesty that may have been the most flinches from feints in a fight that I've ever seen. It may well be an all time record of successful feints. For Canelo to set that kind of a record against Floyd, getting him to flinch that many times, then to say he was schooled really doesn't add up. Successful feints may not win you a round on their own, but it is a measure of ring generalship, particularly if you're opponent bites on them. And ring generalship is one of the 4 components of judges scoring.

Calling Canelo a walking corpse against Mayweather is insulting to the sport. Canelo fought a very intelligent fight, now he was drained having to make 152 so maybe that's why you call him a walking corpse, but Canelo is far too skilled to be called that.

Its called PED top up interval training.

Conor does it, AJ does it Amir Khan does aswell as Brook. Standard 2 fights a year fighters do it.
