ellerbe, the collection of fans on this forum is only a tiny % of the fans in boxing throughout the world. Me and Isal might be one of the only posters who had it close, but plenty of posters and others who may not have thought it was close, may have even thought it was a Floyd schooling still gave Canelo several rounds.

I can accept giving Canelo 1-2 rounds at most, but to even try and imply that 114-114 wasn't atrocious is ridiculous. It wasn't competitive at all.

Shadow just stop saying ridiculous ****. I want to back you. I had Canelo beating GGG in the 2nd fight even though I'm in the minority here. I've defended you on that notion several times. But when you start saying bat**** crazy stuff like Canelo/Floyd was competitive, that's when I stop ****ing with you. Chavez Jr vs Canelo was as competitive as Floyd vs Canelo.

You're "either or" attitude is played out. If you want to determine what the correct score should be, then you can't avoid going through the fight on a round by round basis.

I did go through it rbr with you. You tried to convince me that a weak ass slapping hook was better than the short combination Floyd landed. FOH.

You got it all twisted. I'm not bringing up Canelo Mayweather. Posters like yourself are constantly coming at me on that and criticizing me for having it close, saying it was a shutout etc. I'm just responding to being called out.

Just say you were wrong and move on. Then you'll have my support. I don't even care that it's Mayweather, I know that's what you and your soyboy buddy Isal think. I just can't support people who say irrational ****. If you tried to convince me that Trout beat Canelo or Mikey Garcia vs Broner was competitive I'd say the same ****.

You're talking about round 2. Yes we did go over that didn't we. If you remember though I rated those hooks towards the end by Canelo, I recognized it was a round that could be argued either way. Floyd landed more jabs that round, but Canelo finished the round stronger and landed several clean hooks down the stretch. It's not like I said that was a clear Canelo round or anything. I just didn't ignore what Canelo landed unlike you.

They weren't hard, but they did land clean. Floyd got psyched out trying to dodge since he was pulling back so often, he got caught in one of those pulling back fits and walked right into a clean hook.

I just re-watched the 2nd round. It was not remotely competitive. Very, very, clear Floyd round.

Floyd was winning the round with the jab, but Floyd didn't land any hooks or power punches. It's been a while since I watched it but I know Canelo finished the round strong and landed those hooks. If I recall you (or maybe it was someone else) admitted that round 2 was hard to score with how Canelo finished the round.

Nope. It wasn't hard at all to score. Definitely not me. Easy round to score. No way possible way to score it for Canelo unless you have Canelo's nuts in your mouth. And Floyd did land some power shots to the body and to the head, even if they weren't super effective. But neither were Canelo's. None of Canelo's shot had effects.

I'll take another look at it, it's been a while since I re-watched that round. I will say that I thought Rounds 3 and 4 were better candidates for Canelo rounds than round 2 was imo, but I still thought Canelo edged round 2 down the stretch.

Hahahahah. If you thought Canelo edged that round you know absolutely nothing about boxing. This isn't a debatable round. It wasn't a close round to score, it was completely clear for Floyd. **** off loser.
