I forgot about Bika-Codrington. Kessler/Calzaghe wasn't even top 3 for that month then. Haye/Mormeck was a better fight as well.
Ndou, Judah, or Hatton. I thought the Hatton fight was exciting because of how much tension there was through the first rounds, then Floyd subtly gained control... and finally in I think Round 8, opened up with all guns firing.
i can actually think of 12 fights that i saw which were better than calzaghe-kessler in 2007.it is just ludicrous to say it was foty and some people have said it
the pace slowed after the first 4 rounds and maywaether was completely dominant.it was also the fight where smart ass Emanuel Steward predicted Sharmba Mitchell would have the edge against Floyd
It was exciting for more than 4 rounds. Steward is an idiot with his predicitons though I agree 100% on that.
Mayweather v chavez probably just pips N dou for me, the most impressive perfomance was corralles by a long way though
Anywhere near as good???? What you smokeing.:-( Please watch Gatti, Burton, Jesus Chavez, Corrales, even Hatton, Ndou.
I voted Ndou, but the Corley fight should definitely be in this poll. And the Judah fight should not be, Mayweather threw less than 35 punches per round in that fight.
I was actually excited on the hyping of Mayweather-Hatton, seems it would be an awesome fight. But their bout seems like a hugging fight. But for some part, I enjoyed Mayweather taking the offensive and KO Hatton. That's priceless.
Judah because I was at the fight. I realize the fight was going to be stopped or would had if it was anyone else. But there were some many of us blacks that they were scared it might be a riot.
