Do you think its a good idea with an active lawsuit to go around in interviews and constantly repeat the same libellous statement as many in the Mayweather camp have done?

Tyson went about asking Holyfield for a PED test the same way Mayweather asked Pacquiao, through negotiation.

Holyfield accepted Tyson's stipulation and most people never new Tyson even asked Holyfield for a PED test, neither side made an issue of the PED test because Holyfield readily accepted.

Had Holyfield refused to take the test, that fact would have been even bigger news than the controversy now with Mayweather and Pacquiao.

The fact that a PED test was even an issue only made the back pages of the news in a select few newspapers, which is why most people including myself never found out about Tyson's stipulation for Holyfield until recently when this here Pacquiao refusing was making news.

This issue with Mayweather and Pacquiao is all over the news simply because Pacquiao refused the testing.
Had he accepted, the fact that both fighters were undergoing additional PED testing would have hit the news for a day or two and then dropped out of the news and become a non issue.

Bob Arum is a Harvard graduate and he knows the media more than he does his own family. Arum surely knew and advised Pacquiao that if he refused Mayweather's stipulation, it would be a major talking point with the media throughout the world.

.....at the end of the day it does'nt matter who's right or wrong on this issue, the only person that comes out smelling stinky is the fighter that does'nt want to go through the testing.

the fact it went past summary judgement kinda proves it's not "bull****".

that means that a judge has decided it's not merely opinion but was instead presented as a fact, it did cause pac harm, it was intended to cause pac harm, it was disseminated to third parties, what was said was false or not provably true & that mayweather was the guy who said it. you know...all the stuff that people are saying would make this case "bull****".

the reason so few of these cases reach full judgement is not because they are hard to win (if they pass summary judgement you are actually very likely to win)...but instead; they tend to end up being embarrassing and time consuming & generally; they get settled out of court.

like this will be. pac will walk away with a fat check & a published apology.

    mark my words.

This is ****ing dumb Lance, we've debated this issue enough times for you to be clearer than this. Nobody "believes" ****, it's irrelevant what anyone believes, the bottom line is that questions exist. Why would ANYONE settle for a questionable outcome when there are legitimate safe guards available that would prevent these questions from being an issue? Drug testing is a necessary part of athletics as it stands today, period, I assume there's no debate on this. Fighters are independant contractors who are free to negotiate the terms and conditions of their fights, again I assume this is common knowledge. In terms of it being applied universally, perhaps isn't feasible at this time, but it is feasible in this instance, so what's the problem? It pisses me off, that people give Pac this out because he's butthurt about the way someone approached it, I mean cry me a ****ing river...who gives a ****, the sheer pettiness of this reasoning is more offensive than him flatly refusing. I won't do it because they hurt my feelings, hence I will cost the fans the opportunity to see the fight, I will cheat myself out of the opportunity to test myself against the best, and I will do this with the justification of petty pride? 50 million dollars pissed away because I'm too prideful...seriously this is what you expect me to accept? It insults my intelligence that you would think that I would accept that a man would walk away from a 50 million dollar payday because he's upset about the way the guy he's fighting's Dad talked about him?

Lance, would you sue Floyd and company or would you take the test and beat the **** out of him? Give him a rematch and beat his ass again. What would you do? Just an honest question.
