Ok bro. Name one fight where Oscar even clame close to matching what the fight with Floyd made. I heard that his biggest draw made half. Now are you saying if Oscar fought another fighter, it would have garnered the same viewership? Get real. Judah, Baldomir, Oscar, Hatton all earned their biggest paydays with Floyd. Are you saying Floyd isnt a top drawer? That Hatton wont be the second biggest fight in PPV history? That whoever he fights next being Cotto or whatever wont be just as big?
We know that Oscar got his biggest payday with Floyd. And vice versa. But Oscar is the bigger attraction and the bigger star.
How about YOU name ONE fight where Floyd came as CLOSE to what he made fighting Hoya. Dont flip **** kid.
Meaning it was a combination of both, no? Oscar's previous highest was 1.2 million. This sold 2.4 million (or there abouts). While it's certainly off of Oscar that the history was made, it had plenty to do with WHO he was fighting too. But Floyd will never sell as much, or earn as much, as Oscar in his career. No way.

What part of HE WASNT the draw dont you get. He wasnt the draw for the Gatti fight and he wasnt the draw in the Hoya fight. Lets see how he does without him.
Without who? I didnt realize he was fighting De La Hoya again? Never said anything about De La Hoya's drawing power, its plain to see Floyd Mayweather is now the biggest attraction in boxing, bar none. If he fights Cotto or Williams, he will break the bank again. *head pat*
Being fair, man, I don't think anybody could really truly believe FLOYD is the biggest draw in boxing now. Floyd isn't Oscar. Oscar WITH Floyd was big. But Oscar with A lot of people was big. Mayweather is just half the equation in these two fights... I mean, Floyds fight is big BECAUSE he is fighting Hatton. Hatton fought here last time and , what, 8000 flew over for it??? Do you think 8 people TOTAL (for Floyd) would fly to England if this fight was held there??
true. They are both great fighters, and DLH is the biggest draw of the last decade. But Mayweather is the only constant in both those fights. Think about it, would Hatton vs De La Hoya be generating this much publicity? I truly believe mayweather has overtaken oscar now. Brits cherish their sports stars more then Americans do. They always have. Look up Tim Henman, they named a hill after him at wimbledon and he never made it past the semi-finals.
Mr. Scully, I have to agree with you. I don't care much for his personality (And stuff like this is why) or really like, but as long as he fights, then that is cool. I can careless how stupid he acts outside of the ring, that's his problem.
