Yes I do. Especially after he beat him, I think everyone knows DLH is past it. Floyd is still P4P king. Floyd will never approach DLH alltime, but he is clearly the bigger draw now.

the fact is mayweather in a sense can be viewed as incidental. the only true constant is the fact that both of those fighters dlh and hatton have an extremely large fan base that will pay to see them fight. floyd just reaps the rewards.

and as far as the ppv numbers for cotto shane, 450k. cotto's 2nd ppv, more than any of pbf's without dlh.

 

The market doesn't work that way, and you ought to know better. Mike Tyson hadn't done anything in years, and he could still sell a PPV against Kevin McBride.

If Oscar fights Cotto, and Floyd fights Cotto, the Oscar fight will well more PPVs. There's really not much question about this at all. Floyd is a great fighter, and ATG, but he'll never be beloved the way Hoya is.

Cotto will end up being a bigger draw then Floyd down the road. Thats for sure. These two HAVE to fight.

 

Lemme tell you something, I don't mind a little course language now and again, but that crap is just WAY over the top, with all the MF's n-words and just about every other offensive sort of jargon you could imagine. Frankly, as you point out, it is indicative of great immaturity. If I didn't know better I'd think Floyd was a hormonal adolescent, rather than a 30 year old man with that sort of talk.

He may be a great boxer, but he sure doesn't seem like the greatest human being.

 

You know, I wouldn't judge someone's character for talking like that, but for a guy who grew up in a situation where he should have known better, it's just embarrassing. Floyd tries way, way too hard. The result is that he looks like an idiot.

 

Floyd strikes me as the type of unstable guy who if he ever loses, he'll retire like Trinidad and their will have to be a suicide watch on him or something. Seem's like a really insecure dude with all the flashiness and bravado.
