Somewhere in the Top 50, depending on how you rate fighters all time.

I am just giving fact. Not hating or "nuthugging". Whenever a fighter is knocked out, he is considered "damaged".

I'll do this more based on weight classes to be more fair to Mayweather

At 130 I consider him a top ten ATG

At 135, in the top 25

    At 140 the top 30

And at 147 he's lucky to crack top 50

His resume at welterweight compared to so many other greats in such a historically rich division is almost abysmal. Either guys who have no business at the weight or guys who had previously shown fatal flaws that ensured they'd have no chance of beating Mayweather(Baldomir's slowness/lack of versatility, Judah's punk ass bully mentality). I know, I know, Judah had Floyd goin the first couple of rounds. But as we saw, it was a twelve round fight....Mayweather understood that, Judah didn't. As far as quality wins over proven welterweights, Floyd's current resume doesn't hold up to the Sugar Rays, Hearns, Benitez, Basilio, Napoles, Whitaker, or Duran imho

Good post. I've always rated very highly the skills of Mayweather at e.g. 130, but I think he gets a working over against the top Welterweights of the past.

Damn Blade you really put him in ur top 70...see thats why this guy knows his ****...sure he dont like Floyd and he PUTS UP A GOOD ARGUMENT AS TO FLOYD DUCKIN THE 147LB FIGHTERS..BUT HE RANKS HIM HOW HE SEES HIM AND APPRECIATES HIS SKILLS IN THE RING....

I got him around Top 50...but top 70 not bad at all...

Off thread topic...but where u rank Pac?? I put him around Floyd...I still got RJJ and BHOP slightly above Floyd though...I think a Floyd or Pac victory over one another puts them both up a notch....

not sure i understand ur rating for floyd at 135 and 140...his victories there were good victories but I dont think he is an ATG at all in those divisions...He had 2 close wins over Castillo and a win over Sosa who was decent at best...Ndou in my opinion was A GREAT VICTORY FOR FLOYD....31-1 30kos..I remember arguing before the fight with muh fu#kas that Floyd could get caught....AT 140 HE LOOKED BETTER THAN EVER....BUT STILL CANT PUT HIM IN AN ATG CATEGORY..

IF UR LOOKING AT BOXING SKILLS ALONE WITHOUT COMPETITION ETC ETC....THAN FLOYD RANKS WITH THE BEST OF THEM...I MEAN HE KNOWS HOW TO STEP SIDE TO SIDE...HE ALSO KNOWS HOW TO PUNCH AND MOVE (RUN AS THE HATERS CALL IT)...SKILLS IS WHAT ITS ABOUT BUT I THINK IF FLOYD'S HEART IS TESTED THAN WE WILL SEE A FIGHTER WE HAVENT SEEN BEFORE....

TOP 4 EASY AT 130..I GOT HIM #1 AT 130 WITH A SLIGHT EDGE OVER ALEXIS...

at 135.. why would any1 consider him amongst the best of all time? going 1 and 1 with Castillo? or was it his wins over B class fighters like Sosa and N'dou?

and @ 140 he only had a couple of fights....and his biggest win was over a shot and war-torn Gatti

and i wont even touch on 147.....cuzz we all know his competition there has been fairly laughable

like honestly, people are cracking me up by ranking this guy so high....i simply can't believe it

i respect ur opinion but ur facts dont back up what you say...gatti was the same old gatti....floyd just was too good....if you woulda put a "prime gatti" in there i bet the same outcome would have taken place....

As far as floyd at 135 i had him winning both fights against castillo...first fight 114-112 and second 115-113(havent watched it in a while but somewhere around there).....but still ur right....floyd dont have **** to back him up to make ne 1 think he was a top anything at lightweight

I have Pac around top 50,a win either way would move them both a lot of places but i think a win for Pac would be bigger than the other way around, similar to Duran-Leonard which was a huge win for Duran but not as big for SRL.

If we were talking just about skills your boy would be much higher than top 70 cause theres no doubt that hes one of the most skilled fighters ever but unfortunately he chose money over legacy and didnt gave the fans the fights they wanted he still has time and two wins over Pac and Mosley would be huge for him.
