That is the same point I made. Undefeated doesn't mean as much as fighting everyone out there. Give Delahoya credit he did it even though he lost to most top greats, but Floyd has not done it.

DLH also has about the same amount of losses as most ATG's including the super 4 of the 70's.

We're just harder on people now.

I disagree that being undefeated doesn't mean that much.

It shows the fighter never under estimated anyone (ouf of whom they fought) and never faced anyone who could beat him.

That is quite an accomplishment, especially when you are up to 40 fights, and have faced, and beaten, so many good fighters.

Being undefeated does mean something. There are no exuses, as none are needed...................you've never HAD to create any excuses. :good

If you are undefeated against minor competition, its not that much of an accomplishment, but Mayweather, after having faced the fighters he has, and still be undefeated............That is impressive. Floyd is an all time great, like him or not.

You must be a fan of Joe Calzaghe. 46-0 > Floyd Mayweather Jr. 40-0.

    Here's more for you:

    1. Rocky Marciano 49-0 > Floyd Mayweather Jr. 40-0
    2. Young Mitchell 56-0 > Floyd Mayweather Jr. 40-0
    3. Ricardo Lopez 51-0-1 > Floyd Mayweather Jr. 40-0
    4. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. 41-0 > Floyd Mayweather Jr. 40-0 :smoke

Oscar's problem is that he didn't beat many ATG's. He beat Chavez which was a good win, but other than that he had bad luck especially against Tito. The super four in the 1980's Hearn/Hagler,Leonard and Duran fought each other and went to war in way Oscar never did. But I respect him. I think his resume is great and he fought them all. He belongs in the top40 ATG fighters.

Dude, you are selling Oscar short. Oscar could go to war. No doubt.

Chavez Jr is also undefeated and he has more than 40 fights to his credit! At the rate Pussymay is cherrypicking his opponents, I would not be surprised if he surpassed Rocky Marciano's records.

The truth is honest fans know that FMJ should really be 39-1 as he definitely lost the Castillo I fight...

That's like being honest with any other bout done through time:

    - Oscar De La Hoya beat Trinidad !
    - Lennox Lewis beat Holyfield in their first fight !
    - Felix Sturm beat DLH in their fight !
    - DLH beat Mosley in their 2nd fight !
    - Andre Dirrell beat Carl Froch !
    - Winky Wright beat Jermain Taylor !
    - Pernell Whitaker beat DLH !

and on and on we can go...

WE HONEST FANS RECOGNIZE THE REAL TRUE RESULTS.. ARE NOT NECESSARILY BEING THE GIVEN ONES !

    End of story !!!
