Pacquiao vs Margarito does 1.05-1.15 million whatever the true numbers is, completely outclassed by Mayweather vs Mosley.

Mayweather is supposedly boring, supposedly nobody wants to see his fights, supposedly he is universally hated and BAD for boxing.

But somehow he continues to utterly dominate a guy who is supposedly an internationally known figure, a cultural icon, and a guy who gets 60 minutes special and is actually allowed responsibility in a country.

:think Get it together Floyd hater bitches.

wow this has floored me. i didnt think floyd had any fans left.

  4. Why is mayweather... (not to mention his fans) so desperate to prove themselves in the face of pacquiao?

Surely thats an indicator of who's boss in this era of boxing.

It's not as though Mosley didn't have any fans.

If Floyd fought Margo, he'd do similar PPV numbers. Shane's a bigger draw than the cheater.

Sorry but no. Margarito is a far bigger draw then Mosley.

    Of course it did more.

    Mosley had just destroyed Margarito.

According to Ross Greenburg, who would know, the three biggest draws in boxing are Mayweather, Pacquiao and Mosley. If anyone would know, it would be him.

Aside from that, the Mayweather/Mosley fight was the most richly promoted fight in history and still only outdid Pacquiao/Margarito by a small margin. Consider the fact many people didn't think Margarito was a worthy challenger, and the fact Mayweather/Mosley just did bigger numbers, isn't much to shout about.

I don't know why Mayweather out-sells Pacquiao. I think that they are on par as far as popularity...I'm not one to make excuses for why FMJ sells more. One thing is for sure, though...there is something besides popularity that has him out-selling Pacquiao. I'm not sure what it is, though.
