Thats the thing, Floyd wont be on the outside with Sergio. He'll stay close to him, which will take the edge off Martinez's shots. Martinez needs room to punch, and Floyd's defense on the inside is exceptional.

The closer the proximity, the better it is for Floyd who can fight on the inside. He'll break out some James Toney moves on Sergio, who is not that great on the inside.

Sergio is one of the best fighters in the world, but people are just looking at size here. Style wise, Sergio is not perfect, and leaves himself open. He also has a limited inside game and is not known for being able to use his size on the inside either.

It might be ugly, but Floyd gets the win here.

  3. Pac's too small for Maravilla.

    :patsch

And before you mention Margarito, consider that:

Mosley, who is bigger than Pac, said Maravilla is too big.

    AND.

Sergio HIMSELF has said that Pac is too small for him: "Manny Pacquiao is too small. It would be a mismatch."

    :hi:

Williams didnt get caught because he was too close to Sergio, he got caught because he was in the no man's land in between the inside and the outside.

When he was close to Martinez in the 1st fight, he got tagged, but Sergio's punches did not have the edge on him that they do when he has that extra room.

With Sergio, you stay inside or out.

He still kept distance betweem them and himself. Floyd isn't stupid. He's not going to try and crowd Martinez, or phone booth it. If Floyd was to fight, he'd fight how he does, and that's cautiously and to keep his distance and win on the cards.

Margo was never too big for Floyd (as Oscar is way bigger than Margo).

And any size advantage Margo had would have been nullified as Margo sucks so bad.

k and....? Its still a ***** excuse. Guys that are too big for pac that he fought werent good enough to beat him. Im just saying that in sergio's case its more a case of, too good for pac than too big.

Ya cause Sergio is too good.

  14. Sergio Martinez is VERY GOOD, but he's still a middleweight. Pac is a small welterweight.
