Martinez smarter fighter than manny imo. manny throws the better combos and is more athletically blessed though.

 

Hmm. . .Sexy Sergio is pretty athletic himself, having been a cyclist and a soccer player. Do agree with you on the "landing better combos" part though.


Sergio relies too much on single shots (like the lead left) or a basic 1-2. He has a good right hook but usually only throws it as a single shot rather than as a 1-2-3.


Manny throws 5-7 punch combos regularly and his volume and seemingly endless energy are in my opinion his major strengths. Not to mention speed of course.

 

the problem with a possible martinez-pacquiao fight is the weight.

PBF would NEVER EVER take this fight! Way too dangerous for him. Martinez is just as fast as he is, and he is bigger and hits harder.

At 154lbs Martinez would be too much for Mayweather i think he would stop him in around 8 very painful rounds for Floyd.

 

Wow I thought almost everyone here thought martinez beats floyd up at 154, southpaw,taller,weighsmuch more on fightnight, very long arms, great jab, good counterpunching skills, good movement. And floyd probably is better of at 147 anyway, yet the common thought seems to be floyd ud even here, didnt expect that.
I really believe at 160 and below nobody clearly beats martinez.
