I am only talking about Floyd at WW.

Notice the best true WW he faced was Mosley who ofcourse he had to face at age 39 and off his longest layoff of his entire boxing career.

Easy arguement that Manny's win over Cotto alone trumps this WW resume.

    Mosley at age 39
JMM - first fight above 135 and only fight at WW
    Sharmba Mitchell at age 35
    Carlos Baldomir at age 35
Ricky Hatton in his 2nd fight at 147
Zab Judah - who was KO'd by Tszu

foreal, all *******s talk about is Floyd or how Manny is better than Sugar Ray Leonard. I get tired of this ****, it's annoying. Or when we talk about Floyd in a thread and some dumbass Pacfag says some **** like "well Void is a coward" or "Floyd needs to find hus urge first" and it'll have nothing to do with the thread. Please stop this bull****

You must be a Floyd fan cherrypicking this thread when all everyone talking about his Floyd vs Manny.

And FYI I talked about the past weekends fights more than this.

    Cotto and Clottey

Cotto was considered good but many wondered if was ruined by margo. Pac confirmed it. But he took the challenge. Floyd Didnt.

Clottey just didnt turn up but before the fight he was expectrd to lose but was assumed he would put up a bette peformance.

Pacs skill dealt with these guys who previously were considered quite good.

Floyd's resume at 147 is pathetically weak...especially given all the talent that has passed through there the last 5 or so years since he's been at welterweight. The fact that people still defend him trully amazes me.

You started this thread in January:

Floyd vs Shane...don't get your hopes up.
I have a gut feeling just as I did when the initial Pacquiao/Mayweather negotiations went by seemingly smoothly that this fight will never happen. I just don't see Floyd actually stepping in the ring with Mosely. You guys can call me a Floyd hater and all that but I'm just stating the obvious.....this is the first elite welterweight Floyd has ever fought (unless you consider Judah elite). I see Floyd coming up with another mysterious injury in training camp, forcing Mosely to take another fight just to remain active. Fact of the matter is....Mosely isn't quite faded enough like DLH was when he fought Mayweather, for Floyd to actually get in the ring with Shane....and Floyd's win over Oscar was far from dominant. I really don't understand how Floyd has any fan base left after this unprecended amount of cherry picking and ducking he's done the last few years.
