It's probably taking up too much of my time at work right now, but it's not that difficult to do that to Floyd fanatics.

See this is where you eagerness to be a dick has made you look like an irrational ******. My post in the context of the post I replied to was to illustrate that Manny beat ODLH and Hatton, cool PBF did as well only he beat ODLH at the weight he was most comfortable, and he beat an undefeated Ricky Hatton so the wins are a wash. The poster then lists Cotto and Margo, along with ODLH and Hatton, as the "rock solid resume" of Pac. My point was I'll take the wins over JMM, SSM, Judah, and Baldamir over the wins over a beaten and broken Cotto, and a fresh of suspesion Margo. The point is simple, their resume's are so similar that it's laughable to discredit one in hopes of building the other, they are either both good, or they are both not good, there is very little difference in the two. Other than I think PBF faught the best fighter listed in SSM, that's a matter of opinion, but that is my opinion.

    I have a better idea....

Tell me why Floyd's wins vs.:
Hatton and Jmm weren't against smaller guys with no business at WW.

    or why:

Judah and Baldomir weren't terrible WW Champs.

How about we try that? :thumbsup

So you rate how good they looked when they lost over titles, resumes and P4P rankings?

Bika and Kessler both lost to Ward but since Bika looked better in defeat he would be a better scalp for someone than Kessler?!

The reason other fighters are brought up is to highlight how **** your reasoning is.

:patsch I'm sure you have many, many hours of sparring right? And of course, we should all just take your word for it.

For the record, I appreciate Floyd's talent and skills. I've been watching him since he became a pro. LIVE, not catching up years later like you, jumping on a bandwagon.

:patsch No. That's now how I do it. I don't have a "formula" like you might.

Boxing is complex with a **** LOAD of stuff to take into each fight. WHich is why I don't try to use what other fighters did to prove what some different fighter might do. Apples and oranges. That clear enough?

Manny Pacquiao in the last year alone fought as many top welters as Floyd did in 5 years. (zab off a loss to baldo, 36 year old baldo, 38 year old mosley). Not great.

I appreciate all fighters most of them in general are good people with good beliefs and tremendous fortitude that has to be appreciated for the spirit and competitiveness of life it shows.

I agree casual fans probably like Mannys style more much like people were enthralled with Tyson in the 80's. I was watching Tyson last night against Bruno before he was knocked out by Douglas. Man.. so anxious to get to his opponent.. so much power behind every shot.. fun to watch thats for sure
