Parents are so lazy these days, they allow television to raise their children. It's okay for kids to idolize sports heroes as they have for generations, but we have begun to place too much of the responsibility on these guys. It's gone overboard.

If you feel that losing caused ALL of Hameds problems then that is a rather simplistic view.

Hamed became humble after the loss, how his life went after boxing is a matter of character, to assume his life went downhill because of the loss is ****ing laughable.

 

Floyd losing would not be good for the sport ... if anything it would cripple the sport because there isn't that many mainstream stars on board ... Floyd winning would create more buzz for up and comers who have the potential to challenge Floyd in the future.

 

floyd does not know how to lose, it will be up to mosley to teach him how to lose.there are a lot of undefeated fighters but mayweather has fought some of the best at there primes and has been on top for over a decade.mayweather dont have no padded record with a bunch bums on his resume only fighting 1 or 2 fighters worth talking about.he has a solid resume thats why i like his undefeated record.

only other fighter i can remeber that was 40-0 that had a good hit list was tito trinidad.ricky hatton, joe calzaghe, kessler's were shity resume.2 or 3 guys on there tops worth talking about, but not mayweather.hes undefeated and he has beaten some of the best.

id like to see how mayweather does after a loss, but i think he can win until hes 35.bout time he will slow down and maybe get caught with some **** and get koed.if that happens rematch that man and then retire.

 

floyd is a boxer, and for kids to look up to him as a boxer is good because floyd gives his boxing 100%, but apart from that, then why would parents want their kids to look up to a fighter? it's not exactly a proffession for parents to say, "look at that man, that's what i want you to be like".. you'll have trouble finding that many boxers that are great role models that have done nothing wrong, even ali wasn't perfect. if i had a kid, the last thing i would do is put him on my lap to look up to boxers, i'm sorry but theres far more important people to look up to than sportsmen.

You put as much passion in your kids as you do typing keys off your keyboard about mayweather then you would be a decent parent and wouldnt have to worry about money raising your kid

Just tell your kids He is a good Fighter but not a good people person.
But your attitude twards him will make mayweather look cooler then you because your jealously bleeds through. A better way would to say I dont agree with the way he acts But I do understand because this is how he grew up this is how his father grew up this is what they went through this were there struggle and he is this way because of that.
