No chance that FMJ will fight Canelo again, not now and not at any point in his career after their first fight

FMJ got a W against a green and naive young Canelo and he’ll convince himself or anyone who’ll listen that it means he’s better than Alvarez.

Truth is, Canelo would not just beat him he’d hurt him poimenant

Did you watch the fight? It wasn't competitive.

I watched the fight live. It was a masterclass by Floyd. Credit where credit is due.

But Canelo is a bigger, stronger and just better boxer now. He has matured and improved. He is in his prime now.

Floyd is a few years into retirement and is no way the fighter he was in his peak. Age effects everyone eventually and so does a long boxing career.

I have a lot of respect for Floyd's boxing abilities but your statement is over the top.

All we can say is on the night they fought, Mayweather was clearly the better boxer.

I wasn't influenced by the commentators and press slobbering over Mayweather all night and trying to argue it was a schooling. I am objective and don't allow biased commentators to tell me how close a fight was. The judges are far better arbiters than commentators and press people with obvious biases and agendas.

You have the objectivity of a 10yo in a toy store. No one here buys it.

It was the perfect time for both fighters. Whilst not at his peak, Canelo had built up plenty of experience, and was a serious force. FMJ was past prime, but still on top. And the key is that there was a weight window. Not ideal for both fighters, but the reality is that their weights crossed over at opposite ends of the scale.

You're delusional and desperate to resort to mockery because you know I'm far more objective than you or the majority of posters here. You know this because I don't just trash talk - I back up everything I say on here with logical reasoning and detail. You know damn well that everyone including the commentators and press was slobbering over Mayweather the night the fought Canelo, making his victory seem better and more dominant than it was. Floyd was in tremendous shape and was well prepared, but he also had all kinds of advantages vs Canelo. I saw through the smokescreen. Canelo fought a hell of a fight, and took Floyd to the limit. If you're too blinded by your own bias to see that, that's your problem.

Yes because there wouldnt then be a huge question mark over a primed out 160lb Canelo beating a washed up retired 40 year old welterweight who hasnt fought an actual boxer in how long and whose brittle hands are finished now.

Yes absolutely their rematch would settle everything.

    Bizarre thread.

You know how objective and factual I am Lance. I always back up my claims and support my arguments.

This will happen. Never. It will never happen. Floyd would be foolish to do that. No need
