    With all due respect,a mouthwatering build up is not quite enough reason to make this fight.
    Garcia will probably never be good enough to be a decent opponent for Floyd.Those wide punches would be easier than a 5 mile run for Floyd to deal with.

    When Mayweather his effective counter punching doesn't do harm for the first time and the swarmer just walks right through it.

    Floyd hasn't fought at 160 and Jnr comes in on fight night around 180.Too much of a giveaway.
    And do you really think Jnr would agree to take the test? I think not.

    insignificant and uninteresting fight at this time in floyd's career. He only has a few fights left so why not make the best of it.

    Agree 100% that the 24/7 would be must see TV, but Floyd would destroy him in the ring. I think Garcia would stand in the pocket and try to trade, but that would be a recipe for disaster.

    That said, worse fights could be made.

    to be honest there are no real challenges for him. i mean before the peterson fight a lot of you were saying khan can beat floyd. garcia would be a good challenge for him. garcia is strong and undeafed and in his prime. we all know manny ****** ass dont want to fight floyd. man manny is a *****. he rather fight fighters at catch weights, after losses, old ass fighters and nobodies. i think floyd has faught the best competition. man i am serious sick of manny. fight floyd take less money and the drug test. i beat garcia would give manny hell.

    garcia is definitely a better fighter than khan who was supposed to be in line to face floyd.

    he's also a better fighter than ortiz who got his shot at floyd.

    i'd say it would be an interesting fight. i think garcia is a lot better than ppl give him credit for. if cotto was able to land on floyd....i think garcia can too. i wouldn't mind seeing it.

    I'd rather see Garcia fight Mayweather over Guerreo. 24/7 would be great. There's the chance that Danny could catch Floyd.

    I agree that Floyd should make the most of his last few fights
