...Even if he defeats Manny...it'll be a long journey to be at par with Ali...

Actually he said: "No one can tell me that Ali & Sugar Ray Robinson was greater than me"

I don't know what's more disturbing, his grammar, or his opinions.

Ali said he was the best as well. He had to always deal with people, even his own trainer that he wasn't as good as Marciano and Joe Louis. He received the same reaction from people of his time. The funny part is Ali would understand and agree with Floyd's stance just as SRL did when Floyd said he was better then him. The greats understand it. It's the correct mindset to have if you want to be known as great.

I agree with Floyd on what he said about Ali....but it does not deminsh Ali's greatness......Ali took far to many shots from guys with inferior skills and athleticism, but the 3+ year layoff had tons to do with Ali's eroding skills and reflexes...but he is not greater than Ali and definitely not SRR,or even SRL, Hagler, Duran, Hearns, Chavez,Armstrong,Holmes and several others. Real fighters lose fights and come back better, they dont hide behind their record and crooked governoring bodies and ignorant fanbases..........

Floyd might not even be the best of his era. His next fight will decide that!

Ali pretty much had everything there is to have. In and out of boxing he was great. Floyd has difficulty to put together a single coherent sentence. But I would put Floyd in Top 15 ATG if he beats Pacquiao and Khan before he hangs them up.

Ali did more for black Americans and boxing than any other guy in the sport:deal

Nobody had to pressure Ali to fight the best as he wanted to always take on his top opposition :bbb

    :hat

Pacquiao will not win. So let it be written as it shall be done.

You really take the biscuit. How you can call a boxer a coward defies logic especially Mayweather defies reason. Disgraceful!

A champion boxer especially a multi divisional champion cannot be labelled a coward. This is a man who has beaten everybody put in front of him. When he defeats Pacquiao which believe me he will decisively what excuses will the haters have. You don't have to like or love Floyd but to call any boxer a coward is way below the belt and clearly illogical.

He should think he's better than ali or robinson. He's been the best fighter pound for pound for a very long time now. He has to have supreme confidence in himself and truly feel he's he greatest ever.

Now is he really better than the upper echelon of the ATG's? No, but I have no problem with him believing he's better than them. Every boxer with championship aspirations should have that mindset.
