Floyd simply sees it as economics. He has garnered more ppvs in big fights than Pacquiao. Pacquiao doesn't deserve 50-50. Floyd was even willing to give him 50-50 a while back until Pacquiao wanted a cut off date from testing.

Floyd deserves more, but if he asked for too much, I'd get on him too. Pacquiaos ****** brigade can't deny that had Pacquiao earned more ppvs in big fights than Floyd that Pacquiao and Arum slums still give Floyd 50-50.

Did Pac say he'd take less than 50/50? Did he state why he won't take ANY less than 50/50 now?

yes in the philippine media. he also said in the philippine media that he would fight for free.

but when floyd called, pac said 50/50 and he got the fight. to which was what both camps agreed way back in late 2009.

everybody thinks 50/50 is just fair if you are not a *****.

:huh So Pac can say whatever the hell he wants in the Philippine media and it's not to be taken seriously? Waiit.... Wasn't the interview Pac stated he was weakened by needles in the Philippine media? Because he DIDN'T say it in the US after the fight, the excuses were socks and gloves and ****. So are we not supposed to believe he's weakened by needles since he said it in the Philippine media? :huh

the way i see it mayweather deserves more but should just accept 50/50 to be nice... no matter how you cut it mayweather
    1. most views on 24/7
    2. most ppv buys
    3. last 2 bouts pacman put on sub-par performances
those are the reasons he believes he deserves more plain and simple, as much as we hate to admit it its only right that he gets more from a business point of view. From a fan point of view 50/50 is fair for the two top dogs obviously. Unfortunately for you guys who are FOB, (fresh off the boat) and boxing fans FMJ is in the money making business not the boxing business. We will all need to bend to his will, in his eyes. By the way pacman is a huge draw, lets be honest here 35% of the people who are watching will be floyd fans, 35% are pacman fans. (35+35=70 for those who need help) the last 30% is casuals they want to watch mayweather lose because of his "money mayweather" persona also throw in those who just want all the talking to be over from both sides. They key is those casuals want to see MAYWEATHER LOSE not pacquiao MAYWEATHER. I take nothing away from pacman awesome fighter really fun to watch, solid person in and out of the ring, but mayweather is the bigger draw. This is my opinion take it for what it is we are all aloud

and he accepted the test already? and don't start with things that was said and was turned back. floyd has several times more contradictory statements than pac alone.

and even if he said that, do you think it would be fair as a boxing fan?

so what is more fair to you, a 50/50 split or floyd's guarantee w/out any PPV upside for pac?

If it was solely about economics, which it is to a large extent, then why would he have agreed to 50-50 during the early stages of the negotiation and now apparently is demanding a purse that nowhere near resembles an even split of the revenue? Why the extreme disparity? Why even introduce the complicated obstacle of blood testing if economics was truly the only issue?

Because it's not. When you consider Floyd's list of demands that he has been firm on, one can only objectively conclude that he doesn't really want the fight; not unless all is 'if's' are sufficed.

100% right. And if for some odd reason, Pac took some lowball offer, then something like TR NOT being invloved would be the next roadblock.
