You have never given this man credit for anything. No matter what.

You actually think Thurman is a tough fight for floyd when he's beaten plenty of guys better than him. Way better.

 

Gave him credit for Oscar and Corrales ..Thurman is a good way to retire but hey why am I debating u we know he will fight a soft touch like always or a guy on the decline

Thurman isn't in Floyd's class yet Berto & Mayfield are ??? Old Lennie hasn't got a very high regard for Floyd's class after all has he LOL

 

Ha. Pacquiao, Alvarez, Cotto, Mosley and Maidana are all soft touches but Thurman is a real challenge. That's funny. The guys that have had the most success against Mayweather are the guys that apply consistent pressure. Is that Thurman? No. Thurman is prototypical boxer puncher. Thurman can't fight on the inside, his defense can be leaky, and he has stamina issues. He doesn't have much of a physical advantage over Floyd. The fight would could come down to a mental game. In that regards, Thurman would be out of his depth.

Thurman is a good fighter, and he is certainly a better choice than Berto or Mayfield. However, his chances aren't much better than those two. He would be get broken down and frustrated. Thurman is not the guy people need to be hyping to fight Floyd. Brook is the guy Floyd should be fighting. A fight against Khan would be a better fight as well.

 

It's his last fight why not go out and beat a decent welter or a guy on the rise in his prime .
Floyd has experience and the mental edge no doubt but if it's going to be his final,fight go out with a real master ful, performance against a guy like a Thurman or a Brook ..one of these two could end up the kingpin of the ww division ..it's not set in stone but they could be .

Canelo I never believed in his hype not before nor after I respect him for his attitude but he is really one dimensional ..His foot work is lousy and his stamina sucks ..If he's going to be the next big thing he should switch trainers .

 

They way the fighters are acting from 140-160 is ridiculous. Fighters are acting like *****s at a brothel fighting over who is going to be chosen by Floyd. Where are these fighters manhood?

I'm tired of Mayweather and Pacquiao and hope they both take their money and run and let these young punks fend for themselves and build their own name.



Everybody is affected with the diva disease. Boxing is like a stage full of drag queens. Nobody wants to fight anybody difficult or Floyd might not want their pretty face. GGG wants Cotto and Canelo but not Ward or Lara. Kovalev wants Stevenson but not Fonfara and he can't go to purse bid because he can only fight on HBO. Stevenson is ducking everything Russian like Vodka and roulette.



I love boxing but I'm tired of Floyd's ****. Dissing Thurman publicly, sneak dissing Berto and Mayfield and even his manipulation of Khan's fragile mind. He was great while he was here but it has gone too far.

 

Thurman can't beat Floyd. I'm a lot more interested in seeing Thurman in against the other young fighters in the division.

 

Void refused to fight Golovkin at 154......................now could Golovkin get down to that weight? Where there is a will there is a way.......................Void cheated in the Pac fight, he got pain shots, Pac was not allowed to have such, then claims that Pac went through surgery for fun...........................or rather to fool everyone, you do not go through surgery unless you have to.................

Yes,Pacquaio fight was too late.but still Pacquaio was cabable beating guys like Bradley.crushed Algieri who just have close match with Khan.but whatever probably Pacquaio is then soft touch after all

Canelo won against Lara.and Lara is another Mayweather boogeyman.so maybe afterall Lara is not that good?or could it be that Canelo is actually good?

I just don't get this hate.haters are really downplaying great fighters.

Pacquaio,Marquez,Cotto,Canelo,Mosley,De La Hoya,Hatton,Corrales,Castillo etc.

This man has hell of a resume.and still he is ducking many fighters according to haters.if you have fought couple of ATG'S and multiple HOF fighters.i Don't understand how we can accuse this man to be ducker.

How? Pacquiao was the highest rated Welter behind Floyd, he was rated top 3 p4p, and the fight made over half a billion dollars.

Why not? Maidana was a top 5 Welter, and was the WBA WW champ. He also gave Floyd a good fight.

Easy to say that now. He was ranked number 3 p4p, was a top 3 welter, was the WBA champ and had just come off a dominant win over Margo when Floyd fought him. That was the guy everyone said he needed to fight when the Pac fight fell apart.

It doesn't matter what you personally believe, he was and still is one of the top fighters in the sport. He was a top 2 JMW and the WBC JMW champ when Floyd fought him. Keith Thurman's stamina sucks, and his footwork is levels below Floyd. Again, I think Thurman is a good fighter. However, I don't see how he stands any better chance than Mosley, Pac, Cotto, Canelo or Maidana.

With no significant wins ..Was exposed in the Trout fight couldn't do anything in the MW fight and looked like **** against Lara ..Thurman hasn't been tested either but him and Brook make the most sense .If its not Thurman than fight Brook .Unlike Canelo I think those two are better boxers ..Def better than Maidana .It all comes down to how would he liked to be remembered ..

Most fans want guys to go out on their shield that nonsense that he's earned the right for a soft touch is bs considering how he's hand picked guys for the tail end of his career .
