The assumption has nothing to do with your Cotto and Margarito comment it had to do with your 'you people' comment.

That comment had nothing to do with common sense, it had to do with an hasty/assumptive categorization of me that has no sensible basis.

I'm not here to defend Mayweather, so I care not to discuss that part of the argument. People tend to not look at both sides of the coin and gravitate to things that satisfy their position; perhaps that's what attracts you to this article.

Oscar has actually complained about the weight drain. But just because someone doesn't complain doesn't mean he wasn't effected by the drain. When you agree on a deal then there shouldn't be any complaints. If you paid me millions of dollars to lose a few pounds I'm not going to complain about it because the money would keep my mouth shut. But objectively speaking, a few pounds does have an effect on fighters because they could be more focused on losing weight rather than their actual training. If Team Pac didn't think a few pounds mattered, they wouldn't have placed stipulations. They're basically paying for an advantage over their opponents. Mayweather is a hypocrite because he paid JMM to in order for Floyd to enjoy the extra weight advantage.

You can call it smart business or you can refer to is as cherry picking. I don't care. I don't pay much attention to those types of circus shows. I focus on fights like Donaire-Montiel which involved two hungry fighters at the top of their game with no silly stipulations. Montiel was outmatched but from a match-making standpoint, that is what I call high quality.
