I honestly don't get how people can see them both fight at their peaks and not notice how much more skilled Duran was. It's weird to me. I mean, I get that some people haven't really bothered to watch Duran fight and are just going based on reputations, or that they're new to boxing, or don't really know much about the specifics of it, but...I don't know. It's right there, on film. Duran was more skilled. In fact, you could put any other boxer's name up there, and I think I'd still say, "Duran was more skilled." It's all right there for everyone to see. Some of the posts in here, man...If I were a dick trying to be funny I might say that they represent exactly why the General Forum can't have nice things. That's only if I were a dick trying to be funny though.
I was mulling over taking it there. It's certainly more impressive to me considering the manner in which Duran fought -- to remain that difficult to hit -- while simultaneously utilizing a far superior offensive arsenal than what Floyd brings to the table. Floyd is more skilled how?
Floyd more skilled and Duran more confident and loved boxing more than Floyd does. Much of Duran's success is his love for boxing.
Read the first few posts and I have come to realise that chin and stamina are now classed as skills. Learn something new every day.
