Floyd Or Manny. Who is to blame?

  1. Lets take it back one week, both camps said everything was pretty much agreed and that they only had to cross the T's and dot the I's and the only thing left to sort out after that was the venue.
Fast forward 1 week, we have pacquiao taking The Mayweather's and GBP to court for defamation, a lot of people questioning one man's honesty, integrity and his career like he is a criminal because a few people couldn't believe that a human being could be so good without having taken something to make him a better athlete.
Am at a crossroads at what to think to all this so am going to break it down and by the end you will no what i think.
So lets take it back to the december of 2006.
Floyd Mayweather Vs Oscar De La Hoya had just signed to fight each other in the may of the following year, it was the biggest and richest fights outside of the heavyweights since Leonard Vs Hagler(IMO).
At not one point did floyd say "myself and oscar should surrender ourselves to the laws of the USADA, because a fight of this magnitude deserves or warrants the strictest rules, and a level playing field for the both of us"
    No he didn't.
After the De La Hoya fight, Mayweather agreed to fight Ricky Hatton, and again this was a huge fight both in the U.S and the U.K. Massive media coverage on both sides of the atlantic and the world for that matter.
Yet again floyd wasn't asking for the USADA to intervene.
After nearly 2 years in retirement floyd comes back to boxing and agree's to fight marquez in the september of 2009 and win's easily. Floyd again does ask for the USADA to oversee the fight.
Now for Manny Pacquiao in the same time period that i have just covered for Floyd
    14/42007- Jorge Solis (K'O 8)
6/10/2007- Marco Antonio Barrera II (UD)
15/3/2008- Juan Manuel Marquez II (SD)
    28/6/2008- David Diaz (K'O 9)
6/12/2008- Oscar De La Hoya (RTD 8)
    2/5/2009- Ricky Hatton (K'O 2)
    14/11/2009- Miguel Cotto (TKO 12)

Now i am going to break down each opponent.

Jorge Solis was undefeated in 30 before he met pacquiao, and could not cope with his style.(Have not seen fight)

M.A.B gave a far greater performance agianst pacquiao in this fight than he did in the 1st fight. Which you could say had more to do with manny being patient and boxing a lot lot better than when they first met in late 2003 when he was just a young lightning fast left handed slugger.

J.M.M gave manny one of the toughest fights of his career AGAIN, and was a 50/50 fight till the bell rang in the 12th.(I had J.M.M winning by a round)

David Diaz was there to be hit but manny boxed beutifully and did what had to be done.

Oscar was ****in useless and utterly weight drained at 147 and should never have took the fight in the 1st place, but manny did what he had to do and came away with the W.

Ricky Hatton was a complete ****in idiot didn't move his head kept movin forward when he should of been circling away from manny and using his jab but didn't and got k'od.

Cotto is the hardest one to pick holes at I.M.O because of the controversy surrounding margarito and the illegal hand wraps and how much it took out of cotto. But he gave manny a run for his money in the first 4 rounds and then manny took over totally dominating him until the ref stopped it.

Floyd Mayweather Snr says pacquiao has to be on something because he is beating these other guys, but in my opionion these guys were made for manny and he handle them accordingly. I aint gunna listen to a man who can barely talk right himself for all his years of substance abuse and i can't believe that some people actually listen to him, he is a bitter, jealous old man.

This is my conclusion, Floyd Mayweather Jnr had NO RIGHT WHAT SO EVER asking for the USADA to intervene when it falls under the juristiction of the nevada commission.Floyd Mayweather Jnr is not the alpha and omega of boxing, he may think he is but he is not. This sport and it is the greatest sport of the all has been built up by men like Ali,Johnson,Holmes,Marciano,Louis,Robinson,Tyson,Hagler,Hearns,Leonard,Duan,
    Lewis,Chavez,Sanchez,Barrera,Morales,Corrales,Gatti,Arguello and all the rest.
These men who played by the rule book and fought the best and didn't duck anyone and didn't want to change the rules to suit themselve's they did what they had to do and got on with it and didn't hide behind other people. Manny Pacquiao has fought whoever has been put in front of him and he has won, lost and drawn and still carried on regardless.
He doesn't care that his record has an 0 in it.
Manny should not bend over to suit floyd because in twenty years when both are retired, people will remember that manny NOT FLOYD ducked no one and always put on a show and was a great fighter.
Manny should not have play to USADA tune because an ex-convict,drug-dealing crackhead can not take that this man has what it takes to beat his son and bring his world crumbling down around him.
Floyd is ****ing himself out of $40,000,000 and will be rembered as a fool who never rose to the challenge and hid behind other people not an ATG in my book.
Where as manny will be an ATG beacuse he fought and beat the best of his generation and did it by playing by the rules. No one will care what is being said now about manny not wanting to take the test that he shouldn't have to take anyway.

    **** Paulie Mallignaggi aswell

    Happy New Year Everbody.PEACE.

pac. because he is the one not agreeing to random drug testing, floyd agreed to all of his demands, a smaller ring, 8 ounce gloves. but this guy is scared to of giving some blood. :scaredas:

Its all about negotiations and every fighter wants the terms in his favour. But when it comes to a deadline someone has to drop any ludacrous terms. It does sway towards Floyd but if he can put forward some modifications the fight can happen. Even if this means it happening later in the year wen they can agree and build up the fight.

At the end of the day Mayweather was afraid to fight someone he said he'd easily beat because he thought he was on roids. Simple as that.

    Still doesnt make cheating acceptable.

I think Arum has made a fair compromise in his latest offer. If Floyd doesnt go for it I think at this point you would have to question Mayweathers intentions to fight.
