Why did Floyd "retire" for 18 months?? Id love to hear your answer. Most of us believe it was because it had got too hot around here for Floyd. He couldn't keep ducking legitimate opponents for ever. So he faked a retirement ROFLMAO What a spineless wussie LOL

 

what is not true about what I stated? Mayorga was factual a top 3 champion at 154 and was a few fights removed from being undisputed at welter that’s indisputable FACTS you may not like that fact but it’s still facts.

Trout was unbeaten and #1 at 154, he factually was the WBA jv champ under Floyd, and Canelo was told to duck Trout and to fight in Floyd undercard instead he fought Trout on his own date beat ‘em up and dropped em. As far as I know a fight between 2 unbeaten challenger that were #1&2 behind Floyd one a WBC Champ the other a WBA titlist seems like a big win but what do I know

Wasn't just him retiring then, he retired a number of 4 times, funny how no one likes mentioning that fact and the reasons behind those decisions.

 

He "retired" when things got hot lol Others, not only me LOL, were screaming for him to face Margarito. after they saw what Tony did to Cotto !!!!!!!! Now Floyd was obviously terrified of Margarito ,as we all saw. No way he was going to ever face Margarito in the ring so he "RETIRED" until the conspiracy that ruined Margaritos career was orchestrated & he was Suspended & therefore out of the way Floyd came slithering back & "unretired" himself

Nobody believes that Oscar holds a great win over Mayorga, and he’d been out for a year before he fought Floyd. So he didn’t go into the fight with Floyd either active, in form, or coming off of a great win.

Trout’s claim to fame is getting a win over a faded Cotto. And Canelo barely beat him. Also, Floyd fought Canelo at a C-W. So there was nothing great about beating Canelo at a C-W, when Canelo could barely beat Trout and Lara. Floyd only gets big credit due to his age.

Manny was coming off of a win over Algieri, and he was faded, injured, and he’d recently been iced by Marquez.


So none of Canelo, Manny or Oscar were great fighters when Floyd fought them.

Two of them were faded and one was pre-prime.

None of them were in great form where they were coming off of great, significant wins.


When are you going to admit that Floyd took PEDS?
