Leanard beat Hagler by hitting and moving.
Dont see alot of people disparaging Leanard for the way he fought.
Floyd beat Pac by hitting and moving , making him miss and making him pay.
The difference was Pac is no Hagler.

Dont remember Leonard hugging, holding, elbowing, pushing face, headlocking.

Floyds strategy was simple, use his long reach from a distance, keep running, when Pac finally eats a few jabs to get inside, tie him up.

Leonard threw combinations was absolute nasty intentions.

    He tried to hurt Hagler.

Floyd never tried to hurt Pacquiao.

Oh and I believe Hagler won the fight.

I thought Hagler won the fight.

And, yes, Leonard did do way too much holding and smothering, and a lot of people do disparage him for it.

On the other hand, Leonard was still FAR BUSIER than Mayweather, and while I think his showboating and flashy flurries and pitty-pat punches did not deserve to win him the fight, it was still entertaining stuff, especially in comparison to what Floyd and Pac gave us.

Agreed. Even thought Leonard was totally unable to hurt Hagler he tried to hurt him.

Whereas with Floyd it felt like he was basically just conceding the rounds and hoping that his making Pacquiao miss would earn the respect of the judges.

He didn't try to hurt Manny.

people will give loenard credit because he traded punch with haggler but I hop you realize he did it because he had no other choice :patsch

if leonard could have won only by outboxing he would've done it mark my word!

and leonard won that fight yes! deal with it!

lets please not compare Leonard to Mayweather.

Yes they both move a lot, but that's just about where the comparisons end.

Leonard actually threw a lot of combinations vs Hagler. something floyd rarely does.
