Floyd-Pacquiao Philippines Update: "Make sure no blackout/brownout during the fight"

    A Philippine senator warned energy department officials they will become “punching bags” if power failures occur on May 3 (May 2 in Las Vegas), the day of the historic bout between Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao and American Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

    "If the people won't be able to cheer for Manny because power is out, they will jeer the government.”

    He said energy officials should make sure that May 3 is a “National No Brownout Day”

    I guess in the Philippines a television that is turned off has a solid brown screen as opposed to a black one.

    Same thing in the U.S., with all the crime, drugs, too much taxes and health care some politicians are worried more about right to bear arms .
