Using every little detail as you possibly can in you advantage makes the difference between winning and losing a lot if times..most times.

And yes, i do know what i am talking about. I have used Muay-Thai gloves and regular gloves with extra padding on the knuckles.
Now, could Maidana have worn him down more? Absolutely.

And i still dont get where the 1.5m game into play. No proof of it anywhere. (not saying that money wasn't involved, but that's just a ridiculous price)

And i stated that they do make a difference. But it´s not that drastic. A point was made that Maidana would have scored a KO with different gloves yet he couldn't knock Floyd down with the gloves he had.
That 3rd round would not have changed had Maidana had different gloves. Maybe he could have put him down, sure. But the round was over.
But as the fight went on, would there been a different result due to the gloves? There is a case for it.
