If this is true, here's what I have to say about it.... Boxing is no different than any other sport. When you have the money, you can use it to buy advantages. No different than what any other large sports franchise does. What we're seeing here is just Floyd use the money in a different way. Before, fighters were just "buying pounds", meaning buying a pound or two luxury or the right to drain an opponent. Floyd is just taking it in another direction, he's buying the right to choose his opponents gloves. Maidana is at fault here too. Maidana could've said "**** you, NSAC approved these gloves, I'm fighting in these." Floyd couldn't have done **** about it. He wasn't going to pull out on the eve of the fight. He wouldn't get paid. Floyd flashed cash and Maidana gave up his percieved advantage. I find it sad that he gave up his possible chance at winning for a little cash money.
folks, what you really hate is that floyd is king of the hill. Did you all fume about the 2 rays and there stipulatuions too?
