    How would Floyd Patterson do today at LHW or even SMW assuming he could make weight with his skill set and today’s technological advances? Discuss with civility.

    He probably would own world titles at SMW, LHW and cruiserweight. I don't see why not.

    He was good enough to be LHW champ in his own day if he could make weight, he just went one better and took on the HW crown.

    But as long as he could make weight, he's gonna give anyone at 175 hell, he proved it in his career.

    Not saying he'd beat everyone, but I think he gets a belt at some point.

    I think it's interesting comparing these threads on Patterson at LHW (there were another one recently) with the one who was on Marciano not long ago- There some went berserk at the concept that Rocky would make 175 lbs with no problem today and that it would be his likely weight class, but you see nothing of that outrage at the concept of Floyd at LHW today. Despite them weighing about the same.
