As it was against Liston? Watching those fights it's very hard to imagine Patterson staying away for a whole fight against any version of Foreman.

I think the biggest problem for Patterson here is that:

-The 90's Foreman was very durable. He took something like 20 power punches in a row from Holyfield and was still standing. Briggs, Morrison and Moorer stunned him here and there, but never really had him going, either. They all probably hit harder than Patterson.

-Floyd himself is almost certainly going to get knocked down sooner or later .... or both. I think he could survive and last the distance, but that means it will become very hard to win a decision. Alex Stewart schooled Foreman and busted him up worse than anyone ever did, yet he still lost the decision because of those knockdowns. If it's a 15 round fight, Floyd has more time to make up for those 10 8 or 10 7 rounds, but on the other hand, Foreman has more rounds to catch him as well in that case. And we saw against Moorer that he remains dangerous throughout the entire fight.

A young Patterson outworks the shuffling old Foreman. Too quick, too mobile and his power was underrated; Foreman certainly wouldn't land enough shots to stop him in my book. Patterson's chin wasn't great, but it wasn't that bad either and his powers of recovery were admirable at times. This is no dentable chin in the ilk of Moorer's.

No stoppage either way: Patterson UD.

LOL Moorer had a worse chin than Patterson? Are you people on drugs? Probably so, you people have to be on something, Just look at how our country the good old USA is falling apart

Patterson was knocked down 7 times in one round by a cruiserweight in Ingo Johanson.

Jacques Royer Crecy a 166 pounder knocked Patterson down

Peter Radmacher who had no pro fights still knocked down Floyd Patterson

    Roy Harris knocked down Patterson

Ingo Johansson knocked down Patterson 2 times in their 3rd fight.

Liston of course knocked him out 2 times in the first round.

Jerry Quarry knocked Patterson down 2 times

Jerry Quarry knocked him down in their second fight 1 times

Oscar Bonavena knocked him down 1 time

Michael Moorer was only stopped by Holyfield, Foreman and Tua all world class fighters but Moorer has the worse chin? Give me a break Jessu Christ. Most of you people make post like you never even watched boxing.

Shannon Briggs has fast hands is a bigger puncher and is a better heavyweight because he is actually a heavyweight and what did a 48 yead old Foreman did to him? Beat him around like a child

Patterson has been down over 20 times in his career so he could never handle Foremans power and would be stopped in a few rounds.
