really interesting guy too. he had almost like a self esteem issue, even though his hands were blazing fast and he was world champ twice. the parts on him in the ali book "king of the world" are fascinating. wish there was more stuff on him out there

Poor Floyd. Pretty easy to be overlooked though when you get thrashed in 2 rounds in 2 fights, and have Quarry, and legends Frazier and Ali in your division.

 

He was great!! As far as the pee a boo master, I'll give that to Tyson, and I believe Tyson was much faster too, trained by the same man, I just believe tyson is to the Terminator t-1000 and Patterson was the T-850

A fine man! A true gentleman and someone who always entertained in the ring! Much like Tommy Hearns and Tito Trinidad, his questionable chin made him mandatory viewing!

 

always found that patterson had the better use of the peekaboo style while tyson had too much physical power and speed to cover up so many of his flaws.
