How would Floyd Patterson do against Jones Jr, Calzaghe, Ward, Froch, Benn, Eubank, Toney, Collins...at SMW...maybe even throw in Charles, Moore, Conn, Spinks, Tunney and whoever else you want to throw in there at LH.

Is this a hypothetical 185 lb. HW champion Floyd morphed into a SMW, or it's the young one that fought say... Joey Maxim?

You can do any option you like. Even Floyd not being forced to put on weight to get to HW and was allowed time to mature as a fighter. Basically, if he were fighting in the 90's-2000's, he wouldn't have to pack on the pounds to get to HW. He could instead fight at SMW and LH and mature into those divisions.
But in fantasy play, he still has his original team to train him.

but if we go by what was...then you may be able to take Floyd at a certain point and allow for him to dry out for the scales like everyone else basically does in the 90's-2000's.
