    I sure do remember Floyd fighting Eddie Machen on July 5 1964, in Sweden, he could have ended it, but he felt sorry for Machen, who began to experience mental issues, Floyd won by unanimous decision.

    I agree it should have earlier. Machen was given a fight with Ernie Terrell in 1965 for the vacant WBA Title, Ernie won on points.

    I love the guy .. huge heart, blazing speed, a very decent power even at heavyweight .. the guts he showed in the Info rematch .. getting into the ring again against Liston .. sure he beats some guys, why not ? I just feel he really was an ideal cruiserweight ..

    I guess that you would end up betting on the more consistent operator here, but Page could be dangerous in this!
