Why is it that Floyd was never floored after round 4?
Why is it that Floyd was never out cold?
It needed a Top15 all-time p4p puncher and a Top100 all-time p4p puncher numerous punches to put him away and suddenly a cw with a good but not a special punch puts him away? Come on ...

At Heavy ill take Michael and Evander. Ill take Floyd over a prime Leon at any weight.

However at Cruiser im not sure if Michael wins this maybe a pickem fight. The Holy that fought Qawi the first time hadnt quite peaked yet(alittle green) and i might take Floyd over that version. However the Holy that kod Qawi in the second fight and beat Deleon,Tillman,Ocasio,Parkey etc would ko Patterson imo.

It's honestly why I tend not to show up on FP H2H threads...why bother? And also, why not basically judge everyone by the last fight of their last or only title reign on up? Really. Because I feel like that's what Floyd gets. Let's make all Holyfield H2H threads as if it were the Holyfield of the second Ruiz fight or afterward. "He wouldn't beat him. Look at the trouble he had with Ibragimov."

I can't really answer those questions but I don't see how it's relevent anyways.
He was never out cold because he's a smart fighter, and he had a lot of heart.
Well just look at who knocked him down. Holyfield has better timing then all of these guys, and was a great counter puncher. I'm positive Holyfield had better timing then Ingo and Liston. Couple that with good power at cruiserweight, he is going to KO Floyd.

Heart has nothing to do with being out cold.

Then it doesn't really have to do with a chin either since we're just talking about getting knocked down which Floyd is very capable of.

It is very relevant. Floyd was never dropped after round 4 because him beeing knocked down had only very rarely something to do with his chin. He got knocked down because he was very nervous in every of his fights. Some kind of stage fever. After a few rounds he was comfortable, got his balance and nobody knocked him down anymore. Nothing to do with his chin.
Beeing smart and having heart has nothing to with getting knocked out cold. Chin has everything to do with it. So, Patterson never beeing knocked out cold proves his chin is better than he get´s credit for.
Holyfield is not in the league of Johannson and certainly not Liston in terms of punching. Watch how beautifully Johannson times Patterson coming in in their first fight. And he was a more powerful puncher too.
A hw Holyfield has more weight behind his punches and I think has a chance of TKOing Floyd. But a cw Holyfield? Nah. Not enough power and too inexperienced to cope with a prime Patterson. Look how much problems he had with a smaller, slower, defensivly worse and just overall inferior fighter he had with Qawi. Holyfield fought and beat nobody at cw that makes me believe he could cope with a prime Patterson.

Qawi has a much better chin then Patterson. Yet Holyfield still knocked him the **** out in the rematch.
I think Holyfield has a good enough punch to knock down patterson, and then after that he will go after him like he did against Foreman and Cooper, and probably stop him.

Holyfield was having only his 12th professional fight when he went 15 rounds with Qawi.
He KO'd Qawi rather easily in 4 rounds in his 17th professional fight.
