This fight takes place in 1956 when Floyd contested for the vacant title. But instead of Moore facing Patterson its max schmeling. This is the schmeling that battered Joe Louis to defeat.

Can max do the same to the vulnerable chinned Patterson with the same right hands? Or is Patterson to fast for him?

I think that Schmeling would be wrong for Patterson.

Floyd had vulnerable chin and first fight ko loss to Johansson showed this. Max would
have destroyed IJ. Max the same with Patterson. Max by ko in 3.

Not sold on a winner here but I think this would be a very good fight either way.

Max needs to crack Floyd's chin early, otherwise Patterson by UD

I think highly of Floyd and I believe that he's underrated, but Max would be too good for him, imo.
