Floyd Patterson, following his 1st-Round 'demolition loss' to Sonny Liston
in September 1962, is not to enthused about an immediate rematch, with
    'The Big Bear'.

Instead, the 'former 2-time Champion' agrees to meet the 'Louisville Lip'
in a 12-Round Elimination bout, held at Madison Square Gareden.

    How does it go....

    January 1963

Floyd Patterson explaining his 'fight plan' to 21 year-old Cassius Clay.

Later Floyd stated that, 'Cassius always fell asleep in class'.

    Yes,,,,,,,

But January 1963 is a long way away from November 1965.

As many forget, Floyd was only an 8-5 Underdog versus Sonny Liston in
    the September 1962 Championship Bout.

I think this would have been a 'great fight', with equally talented boxers
    neutralizing each other.
