Holyfield wears him out for a late stoppage.

Holyfield too tough and too skilled. Patterson will have his moments but I don't think he'll be able to take the constant punishment from Holy.

Evander by late stopage. He is just to strong for Floyd.

Evander had far better whiskers and grit.. I think a midway TKO for Holyfield

At cruiser I pick Floyd by UD or perhaps SD after recovering from a flash knock down or 2. I even think at cruiser, he might stun or stagger Holyfield at some point as Patterson certainly had the power to hurt any 200 pound and under fighter.

Holyfield wins because of his chin

In a nutshell, this. Patterson can't really take it and Holyfield can. If Patterson had Holy's chin I might even favour him, but he doesn't.

Did CW Holyfield punch harder than Bonavena, Quarry or Chuvalo or Henry Cooper? I don't think his raw punching power wins or loses this fight.

I call it 50/50 w/ this young version of Holyfield. If forced to fall off the fence I guess I would pick a draw

Holyfield was never a shattering puncher. He was a good puncher with good accuracy and excellent punch variety. It was hard to avoid damage against Holy because his workrate and willingness to mix it up would see him always land a lot of stuff. I simply think Patterson is going to crumble sooner or later under the barrage, and that Holy would not.

Holyfield. He'll turn this into a dogfight, and Floyd ain't seeing the end of this one.
