The Wascally Wabbit vs. the White Buffalo, 10 rounds at heavyweight. Who wins and how? Does Frans put Floyd on the canvas, and can he keep him there? Botha was ahead of Tyson and Holyfield when he got stopped … but could Patterson come from behind (if he had to) to do the same trick? How do you see it, prime vs. prime?
Patterson with ease probably by stoppage, Botha had a couple of good fights but I never rated him that highly...
The White Buffalo held the Transvaal Championship which I hold as superior to the NBA or NYSAC baubles. His combo of right to the ribs and grunt was unparalleled in the mid-90's. He had the sheer athleticism manifested in those handsome Boer hams, the audacity of that blonde mustache, and the stamina of a wildebeest. Botha KO11.
What’s the lineage of the Transylvania heavyweight championship? Leon Spinks could have held it for a generation.
Transylvania? The place where vampires come from? No way. Not if he fought Leon at night anyway. I think you’re confused. You do know there’s a difference between the Transvaal and Transylvania, right? Let Count Floyd help you sort it out.
Transvaal. The finest seed of the Boer buck was laid to the fecund soil of the Boer sow in this region. Thus, the finely sculpted hams of DuPlooy, Coetzer, Coetzee, Knoetze, Abbott and of course Botha. Their sons are born with mustaches to this day. This content is protected
That’s why Botha didn’t make it to the top. He shaved off his mustache and was like Samson without his hair. But I asked about the TRANSYLVANIA heavyweight title. It’s a regional title in Romania, only defended under a full moon.
Not in the heavyweight but close too it..kinda..Ann Wolfe aka Silver bullet was known to accumulate her three belts under three different full moons.
I think Botha might be too durable down the line. I don't think Patterson had hands as heavy as Tyson / Holy and he certainly didn't have their chin. If Patterson manages to avoid the incoming enough he could do it on points. What I don't like for him is the way Botha held and mauled his opponents, tiring them out.
