    Johnson schools a young (Maximish) Patterson.

    Oddly I think a peak Floyd was a terrible matchup for Johnson. Anytime after say '56 I think Floyd would stop him, even if he was losing badly before.

    If Joey Max could beat a young Patterson, Johnson definitely could.

    Two of the nicest..finest men ever to lace up the gloves. Two favorites of mine...and I haven't a clue who wins just yet.

    I think could have happened rather than should have happened is fairer.

    Really not too many opportunities for this fight to have much relevance.

    If it happens during the '55 period (Johnson was rather inactive), Johnson probably has enough to beat the 19year old Patterson.
    Anytime after that I think Floyd has matured enough to win.
    The time they were both champs Floyd was engaged in the Johansson trilogy and Liston bouts, so realistically Harold was down the list of opponents. Any time after that the fight really has no relevance
